I’ve been on this entrepreneurial journey for over 200 days now. It feels both like a big milestone and a small one. In the grand scheme of things, it’s just a blink compared to the years others have spent on their businesses. But in these early days, I’ve already experienced the highs and lows of building something from scratch.
One of the best moments so far is hearing feedback like, “Your work has saved me hours!” That kind of praise is priceless. It feels great knowing that what I’m building with AdmiralBridge is making a real difference. It’s the kind of satisfaction that keeps me going, even when things get tough.
Founder’s Path
But let’s be honest: the founder’s path can be lonely. If you’ve been there, you know it. Founders are driven by passion, but we also have to meet market demands, manage tight resources, and juggle many priorities at once. Some days, it feels like I’m pushing a boulder up a mountain.
Then, out of nowhere, a message comes in—a call, a text, or an email from a friend or mentor. A few encouraging words are enough to remind me that everything will be okay, and that I’m not alone. As a founder, support comes in many forms: a friend checking in, a customer giving feedback, or even a competitor challenging you to improve. This network of support is invaluable, and it reminds me that no founder is truly alone.
Looking back on my life, I’ve had a few different journeys, each with its own milestones. From working on the farm as a kid to my first job outside the family, to building my own family, every experience has shaped me. But the founder’s journey feels like living all those experiences at once—a crash course in resilience, creativity, and patience.
Starting AdmiralBridge has brought all the lessons I’ve learned together. The people I’ve met and the community around me make all the difference. I’m so grateful for everyone who trusts AdmiralBridge to improve their operations, and for the friends, family, and colleagues who support me in this journey.
We’re just getting started, and there’s so much more to build. But each day, we grow a little stronger, wiser, and more committed to our vision. This is a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything.
