A recent conversation with a friend reminded me of something that has always come naturally to me—solution design. As we were talking, I found myself reflecting on a visioning exercise I participated in with the Woolwich Counselling Centre’s Board of Directors. During the meeting, we were discussing growth opportunities within the community. While others shared their ideas, my mind instinctively went to work, creating a mental blueprint for an app to address some of the challenges discussed. I was mapping out database structures, designing a user-friendly interface, and considering the types of data reports that would make a real impact.

It was a reminder of how naturally solution-oriented my thinking can be, and how often it leads me to build something tangible out of abstract ideas. My friend pointed out, however, that not everyone thinks in this way. Many people share their thoughts and ideas but don’t necessarily envision how to bring them to life. This conversation reinforced for me how much I enjoy the process of designing solutions to real-world problems, especially when I can see the potential for real impact.

This instinct to design and iterate isn’t something that just happens in isolation. It frequently finds new direction through conversations with customers. Recently, I’ve had several discussions with clients about an issue that is becoming more and more urgent: employee safety. Of course, reducing shrinkage and managing profit loss are vital business concerns, but we all know that employees are the backbone of any organization. Ensuring their safety and well-being must be a top priority.

Setting Priorities

Requests have been coming in to address workplace violence reporting and tracking safety incidents, and I have been energized by the opportunity to focus on these critical areas. It’s a chance to create solutions that protect and support employees in tangible ways. As a founder, it’s moments like these that remind me of why I started AdmiralBridge in the first place—helping organizations tackle important issues and creating meaningful solutions.

However, as any solution-oriented founder knows, one of the most significant challenges is choosing which ideas to prioritize. The possibilities often seem endless, and the demand for innovative solutions can outpace the available time and resources. This is where client feedback becomes invaluable. When a client shares a specific need or challenge, it gives us the clarity to channel our efforts into something focused and actionable. It transforms a broad idea into a concrete goal that we can work toward, ensuring that our solutions address real pain points.

As we move forward, I’m excited to continue working on these ideas and creating impactful solutions that help businesses and employees thrive. Stay tuned for updates and announcements on what’s coming next. In the meantime, feel free to explore our YouTube channel to see the solutions AdmiralBridge has already brought to life.

Thank you for following along with this journey. There are some exciting developments on the horizon, and I’m thrilled to share them with you soon.

Let’s continue building solutions that matter.
